Reba Kanungo is Dean of Research, and Professor and Head of Department of Microbiology, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), prior to which she was teaching at JIPMER for over 15 years. She is a member of several national and international organizations as well as of the committees of NACO, ICMR and CTD. Kanungo is the Editor-in-Chief of JRSM, former Editor, IJMM; and past President, IAMM. She is on the editorial boards of several national and international journals , and has published over 100 research papers and editorials.
