About the Book:

Three school misfits - Justin Cheong, whose parents are Straits Chinese, Tien Ho, half Vietnamese, half African-American, and Nigel "Gibbo" Gibson, an Australian boy - bond for mutual support. As they grow up their friendship is strained when Justin discovers that he is gay and Gibbo becomes infatuated with Tien's mother.
