The Britannica Guide to Climate Change will explore the scientific evidence from how the atmosphere has evolved in the last 4.5 billion to more recent studies on the symptoms of change from a warming planet and the global effects of greenhouse gases and deforestation.

The Guide will also survey the many solutions and key figures in the debate: the Kyoto Agreement, the IPCC, Gaia, the growth of green architecture and the impact of personal green policies such as energy saving light bulbs, carbon foot printing and recycling.
