About the Book:

The Hogwarts Library is a box-set of three books each of whose titles have been referred to by the characters of Harry Potter during some time or the other in their entire school lives. The set of books comprises of 'Quidditch through the Ages’, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ and 'The Tales of Beedle The Bard’.

The first book, 'Quidditch through the Ages’, as the name suggests, is about the famous game Quidditch, its history and origin, the set of rules, the term, the required equipment, the popular players and the reigning teams. It has been written under the pseudonym Kennilworthy Whisp. The book also tends to shed a light on the modern changes implemented in the game.

The second book in the series, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ is a book that all the students of Hogwarts are required to read in their first year. Written under the pseudonym of Newt Scamander, the book also contains a foreword by the headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore. The book contains vivid details about the history of Magizoology, the laws of Ministry of Magic along with the important definitions and information about it, a thorough insight on the magical beasts and also a detailed list of all magical beasts in the world.

The third book in the series, 'The Tales of Beedle The Bard’ is one of the most popular books in the entire Harry Potter series. It contains five fairy tales, including those which led Potter and his friends to find out more about the Deathly Hallows and set on a quest to find them. The other stories in the book are the ones which are mentioned in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’.

Published by Bloomsbury India Pvt Ltd. In 2008, these books are available in paperback.
