Empire of the Moghul: The Tainted Throne was published on 10th May, 2012. This is the fourth book of the series Empire of the Moghul. The other books in the series are Raiders from the North, Brothers at War, Ruler of the World and Serpents Tooth.
All the books in the series are about the battle of power and wars for saving or conquering empires. The Fourth battle is the continuation of these battles. The Moghul Emperor, Jahangir is doomed in Agra, India on 1606. His sons’ thirst for power is so strong that no amount of power or wealth can save him from his son. Since Jahangir is the ruler of most of the Indian subcontinent, the throne is worth any amount of brutality and war.
What once happened to Jahangir is now happening to his son Khurram. Jahangir had summoned his troops to take down his father who was the ruler before him and now he sees the history repeating itself with his own son Khurram, who is preparing for a battle against his own father.
No one has seen the worst yet. The heirs of Timur the Great possess intelligence, ruthlessness and unattainable strength, but also have a grave weakness for wine and opium. Jahangir’s wife is a very clever and tactful woman and as Jahangir has submitted himself to temptation, Mehrunissa willingly takes charge of the empire. Still in thirst for power, Khurram and his half brothers go into battle to conquer the Moghul Empire. The battle for the throne is nothing like anyone imagined it to be. This book is available in hardcover.
