1. 7-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery if:
- You received the wrong book
- The book is damaged during shipping
- The book condition is significantly different from what was described
To be eligible, the book must:
- Be unused and in the same condition as delivered
- Have no additional damage caused after delivery
- Be returned in proper packaging
2. Non-Returnable Items
Returns will not be accepted if:
- The return request is made after 7 days
- Damage is caused by the customer
- The book was purchased under a clearance/sale offer (if mentioned as non-returnable)
3. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- Share your Order ID.
- Provide clear photos or a short video of the issue.

4. Refund Process
- Once the returned book is received and inspected, we will notify you.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method.
If you paid via Cash on Delivery (if applicable), the refund will be transferred to your bank account or UPI.
5. Return Shipping
- If the mistake is from our side (wrong/damaged book), return shipping cost will be borne by BookPlanet.in.
- In other eligible cases, customers may need to bear return shipping charges.
6. Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped. Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled but may qualify for return under the 7-day policy.
